In
a bid to bridge the information gap and raise bilateral trade levels
with China, The Confederation of Indian Industries will launch a
website on Indo-China economic co-operation during the Prime
Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's visit to the country next week.
Stating
that current level of bilateral trade and economic cooperation was
not commensurate with the potential, CII said limited accessibility
to Chinese regulations was one of the reasons acting as a deterrent.
Bilateral
trade between India and China has the potential to touch $10 billion
in the next three years, CII said in a release here on Wednesday.
Trade relations are expected to get a boost after the 35-member CII
delegation's visits to China which would discuss several economic
and general issues including visa procedures and dumping of goods.
